Adăpostul pentru femei din Pinzgau este un adăpost pentru femei autonom, independent din punct de vedere politic și confesional și este organizat ca o asociație non-profit.

În 1997, primul apartament a fost închiriat pentru a oferi protecție și cazare unei femei afectate de violență și copiilor acesteia. Jumătate de an mai târziu, la 18 mai 1998, a fost deschis oficial Adăpostul pentru femei din Pinzgau. Ca urmare, în iulie 1998 a fost înființat FrauenNOTRUF Innergebirg, astfel încât admiterea la adăpostul pentru femei este garantată non-stop.

Între timp, Adăpostul pentru femei din Pinzgau a devenit o instituție stabilită și recunoscută în peisajul social din Innergebirg.
