Útulek pro ženy v Pinzgau je samostatný, stranicko-politicky a církevně nezávislý útulek pro ženy a je organizován jako neziskové sdružení.

V roce 1997 byl pronajat první byt, který poskytl ochranu a ubytování ženě postižené násilím a jejím dětem. O půl roku později, 18. května 1998, byl oficiálně otevřen útulek pro ženy v Pinzgau. V červenci 1998 proto vznikla organizace FrauenNOTRUF Innergebirg, která zajišťuje nepřetržitý vstup do ženského útulku.

Útulek pro ženy v Pinzgau se mezitím stal zavedenou a uznávanou institucí ve vnitřním Krušnohoří.
